Growing & Embedding Outstanding

Continuing Professional Development

Every year the Kaizen Alliance meet to share their annual main school improvement areas. We routinely find that there is considerable similarity in the areas that we are all working on. Clearly we had perhaps initially expected to see some matches due to the changing National agenda but possibly less at an individual school level.

The audit in 2014-2015 has resulted in the Alliance focussing on some key areas which we believe may be of interest to others schools. In addition, we have the broad range of expertise that enables us to respond flexibly to other training needs a school may wish to discuss. Embedding outstanding practice in core subjects is certainly one of our strengths.

This year we are particularly working around the development of Middle Leaders, the most able, assessment and student dialogue and supporting staff to secure good and outstanding teaching and learning. Details of training activities are posted on our web-site but we are very interested in discussing other opportunities that schools may wish us to help facilitate. We recognise the power of CPD in securing change in order to enhance learning for the children in our schools. CPD has to make a difference, be worth the investment and have measurable outcomes based on shared expectations. The Kaizen Alliance is totally committed to building open and trusting relationships, delivering high quality training in its broadest sense that provides excellent value for money.

Talent Management

We are always interested in hearing from colleagues who could work alongside us to support aspiring Governors, Middle and Senior Leaders.  You would be very welcome to join our team of mentors and coaches.  Your help hosting a school visit would also be much appreciated. If you or someone you know would like to hone their application and interview skills in readiness for that next career step please contact us.

The Kaizen Teaching School Alliance offers colleagues bespoke assessment activities that will be supportively yet forensically analyse skills to help career development and current/future role effectiveness.
